Summer is here and we want to enjoy it at its best. With these simple Ayurveda beauty tips we are perfectly groomed from head to toe and can show off our most radiant summer sun smile.  

1. Rose effect: eye and facial toner

  • Place untreated rose petals in water overnight, if possible in the moonlight.
  • Wash your eyes and face with it the next morning. It smells wonderful and refreshing. The luxurious Cleopatra feeling comes naturally.
  • Tip for irritated, dry eyes: Cucumber slices and aloe vera gel have a relaxing and moistening effect .

2. Luxury skin care: Oil treatment before showering

Mix 200 ml coconut oil , 2 drops each of rosewood, lavender and sandalwood essential oils together.

Massage and leave to work 10 to 30 minutes BEFORE showering.

Shower without or only with gentle cleaning products and enjoy the wonderfully velvety body feeling.

 Foot bath: relaxation in the evening

  • Massage your feet in the evening with Triphala oil (available from specialist retailers), spread a teaspoon of the oil on the top of your head and massage in well. Has a harmonizing effect!
  • Then add 100 g of salt, lavender flowers and mint (alternatively as essential oil) to four to five liters of lukewarm water and bathe your feet in it for 10 to 20 minutes. Relax and consciously let go of the day.
  • Tip for heavy and swollen feet or legs: Place something under the foot of your mattress at night so that your feet are a little higher than your heart . (beauty tips for the summer)
