After visiting the hairdresser, your hair is perfectly styled – but how do you achieve the same at home? Here are five professional tips that will make even long hair look great every day.

Let’s be honest: we rarely get our hair as beautiful as the hairdresser. Every mane requires a lot of sensitivity to get it into top shape.

But what do you need to consider when washing, drying and styling? With a few tips, you can style your hair professionally.

1. Use conditioner correctly

A mistake that many people make is applying conditioner to the entire hair. The conditioner must not get on the scalp. Otherwise, the hair can quickly become greasy immediately after washing.

Instead, you should only massage the conditioner into the ends and then rinse thoroughly.

2. More freshness and volume: dry shampoo

This product not only helps with oily hair, but also with flat hair. Dry shampoo is great if you want more volume in your hair.

Simply spray it onto the roots, leave it for two minutes and massage it in. Dry shampoo is also great for updos or braids because it gives the hair more grip.

3. For a long-lasting, radiant blonde

Immediately after visiting the hairdresser, your hair is always a really great blonde. But after a few washes, the hair color can quickly fade or turn yellow. You can combat this with a silver shampoo or a special hair treatment.

The purple color particles are also used by professionals to give your blonde hair a nice cool color. Suitable products are available in drugstores.

4. Perfect beach waves – even without a curling iron

For great beach waves, you should put the curling iron aside. Because as hairdressers know, this look works best with a straightening iron.

This will help you create lots of loose waves. It does require a bit of practice, but you can learn it quickly with YouTube tutorials.

5. Do not brush wet hair

Absolute no-go! When wet, your hair is more fragile than ever. Combing it roughly with a normal brush can cause your hair to break or even be ripped out.

Instead, you should use a coarse comb or a Tangle Teezer . Normal brushes can only be used on dry hair.
