Che-in, sweat spots: Simpler trick does laundry white again

White clothes in particular tends to turn yellow in places where we sweat a lot. The stains under the armpits, on the back and on the collar are difficult to wash and often leave behind discolored edges. There is a free and chemical-free solution that allows you to get rid of the annoying spots.

Red wine, chocolate, ketchup: Some spots are difficult to remove from clothing. White textiles are particularly susceptible to persistent dirt.

Even after several washes, color residues or grey, or yellowish streaks can usually be recognized. In order to remove the stains once and for all, many consumers therefore resort to aggressive and often expensive bleaching or detergents with optical brighteners.

This is how laundry is white again – and free

This is not only bad for your wallet, but also for the environment, which is heavily burdened by such cleaning agents. Instead, you can also simply bleach your clothes with the help of the sun. The UV rays ensure that even deep-seated spots fade.

Wash the affected garments as usual and then hang them either broadly lined up on the floor or on a drying rack in the sun and let them dry there.

With the help of oxygen, the UV light destroys the dyes in the clothing and blew stains, streaks and other dirt that could not be removed from the conventional laundry.

Cotton and natural fibers are particularly easy to bleach

This method works particularly well for textiles made of cotton and natural fiber. If the laundry is still damp, the bleaching effect is further strengthened.

Important: so that pants, shirts and shirts do not unevenly fade, we recommend hanging only white clothing. In addition, you should be careful to hang the clothes or put them to the fact that the sun shines on the whole piece of clothing.

The laundry is dry again and you can still see the stains? Then simply repeat the bleaching trick: moisten the clothes again, for example with a spray bottle, and put it back into the sun.

Especially practical : Since UV radiation also passes through clouds, you can also easily bleach your laundry on a cloudy day or even in winter.
