Costume test: six tips to best pass it

Costume test

The first sunny days have awakened in people the desire to do physical activity to lose weight or tone up. Never before have I found myself working in the gym with several people whose primary objective is to get in shape for the summer . Given the many requests, I will help you with some tips to train adequately to achieve your goal. Costume test:

Obviously the goal is achievable if you need to lose a few extra kilos (8-10kg) , we are not talking about people with severe obesity, as these people need more time to achieve weight loss.

Six tips for passing the swimsuit test:

  1. Be consistent

train with a frequency of 3/4 workouts per week.

  2. Adopt a balanced diet

It is very important to combine training with a balanced diet in quality and quantity, absolutely avoid drastic diets or daily fasting because they can be harmful to our body and do not lead to achieving the goal. I recommend relying on a nutritionist and not improvising with do-it-yourself diets.

  3. Don’t overdo physical activity

train for a maximum of an hour and a half.

  4. Structure the training

The training must be aerobic (fast walking, uphill walking, elliptical, zumba, total boby) for 45-50 minutes and 30-40 minutes of toning exercises for the different muscle parts. I recommend relying on a personal trainer to choose the most suitable exercises for your body constitution in order to optimize work times and obtain clear results in a short time.

  5. Use the heart rate monitor

For aerobic training I recommend using the heart rate monitor in order to work with a constant frequency, which varies from 65% to 75% , in order to burn a greater quantity of fat, as by exceeding this work threshold you begin to burn other energy substrates that are not useful for weight loss (e.g. sugars).

  6. Don’t do too many sit-ups

Don’t waste most of your time doing sit-ups to burn intra-abdominal fat. Don’t do more than 3/4 abdominal exercises , because doing thousands of sit-ups doesn’t mean you’ll lose weight.
