What if the theory of exponentials applied to health?

Hello Guys Welcome to this my blog today I am going to write a some What if the theory of exponentials applied to health For beginners, Exponential Medicine is an annual conference organized by Singularity University (SU). Founded in 2008 by Ray Kurzweil and Peter Diamandis, SU aims to inform, educate and inspire participants on how to leverage exponential technologies to address humanity’s greatest challenges.

The conference, which was held in San Diego, California, last November, was an opportunity for the thrillers of the most innovative and brilliant minds of our time. The premise behind this event is the impact that the exponential growth of technology is having on health. During the conference, the main leaders and innovators in medical science took turns on stage.

The key themes concerned:

– the empowerment of the patient, which is becoming more and more the ‘CEO of its medical staff’;
– the spread of gaming in the field of neuroscience;
– advances in Artificial Intelligence in fostering human knowledge and helping the medical community to make neutral and comprehensive decisions;
– the presence – or rather, the lack – of the Pharma in the exponential growth curve of technology;
The need for pharmaceutical companies to evolve their organizations to avoid obsolescence;
– the constant threat of bio-crime, despite the future mink of an increasingly personalized health care entrusted to collective knowledge;
The proliferation of health startups and venture capitals that are investing several billion dollars in incubators of innovative ideas.

During the event, scientific and technological advances were presented in each of these areas and many other incredible concrete cases and examples. These innovative results are a source of inspiration and promise for the future of healthcare. But how can each of us do – a startup, a pharmaceutical company, a healthcare professional, etc. – do these teachings? That is, to be able to instill the power of exponential technology and innovative thinking in everyday life?

Together with Kristin Milburn and Brenda Cheong we have produced a report of the 2014 Exponential Medicine Conference to share our observations, the main lessons, and their possible application. You can download it here.
