Everyone knows her, and yet no one knows where she comes from. And although we don’t know exactly where its origin lies, we can still feel and strengthen it: intuition. It also plays a central role in yoga. And that’s exactly what this is about: the connection between yoga and intuition, their interaction and interconnectedness. The voice of intuition has many meanings in yoga. However, they all have one thing in common: they all point to the immense power within us. How to Develop Intuition
Intuition – the navigation system of the soul
We live in a world where people believe in things they can see, hear and, most importantly, prove. It is all the more remarkable that intuition, which obviously cannot really be proven, has an integral part in our vocabulary.
This also shows how much we rely on them – and probably without really being aware of it. There are many ways to describe intuition. This is deliberately not about finding a “correct” version. Right and wrong are not the categories that are helpful for understanding intuition anyway. One possible description of intuition is that it is a kind of internal navigation system that guides us through life, even when we don’t expect it. The term “inspiration” describes something very similar. Because basically, intuition is exactly that: a useful and beneficial inspiration – a whisper from within us that suddenly and unasked comes into life and guides us. When we learn to trust these intuitive inspirations, when we learn to decipher their language, we make many grueling thought spirals and tough decision-making processes easier. We all have access to our intuitive voice and can strengthen it. Because all too often it is the voices of our worries and doubts that are louder than our intuition, perhaps because we have become accustomed to listening to them more. We ignore our intuition or cannot access it, or we confuse it with other voices within us. Exactly on
